ANTIQUE SHIPS BELL. A ships bell cast from "bell" metal inscribed to the front S.S. COMMISSIONER-1905-GRANTON, and also it has the rare feature of being inscribed with the shipbuilders details to the reverse side HALL, RUSSELL & CO LTD-ABERDEEN-ENGINEERS AND SHIPBUILDERS. The bell has a wonderful aged patina and has a cast iron scroll style hanger attached to the bells tang. Height to top of bracket 11.5" (29 cm) Diameter at base 8.5" ( 22 cm) SOLD
